EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

• Primary school teacher
• Family psychologist

While working at the Rīga Medical Institute, Inese had the opportunity to study medicine extramurally under personal tutelage of the institute’s professors.

While confronting her personal health issues, she learned the basics of traditional medicine systems, later expanding her knowledge thanks to the lectures by Grigory Dvorkin and Yulia Ryzhkova.

An in-depth awareness of human psychology was gained in private tuition offered by professor Juris Valbahs. Inese has always been keen on growing her knowledge by reading widely on topics such as educational science and psychology, conventional and traditional medicine (mainly self-taught) as well as by delving into analysis in order to understand the deepest underlying truths. Her mum was the one who taught her the message and vocabulary of music. Further expansion of this ability was helped by two of her teachers: musician and composer Aivars Šics and the eclectic and versatile educationalist Eduards Voholders.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE GAINED IN 1970s

• Fashion consultant and clothes designer, working with pattern making, sewing and adjusting.
• Organiser of banquets, working as a culinary chef, general cook, pastry and confectionery maker.
• Interior and architectural designer, working on interior redecoration and ornate remodelling as well as Art Nouveau façades.

Integrating the abovementioned knowledge, professional skills and five decades of intense exploration, Inese has been nearing the completion of her three extensive pieces of scientific research.

Inese’s hobbies include painting and writing poetry.

Born in Dobele on the 16th of August, 1975, in a cultured working-class family.

EDUCATION

1982-1993: Bauska Secondary School No. 1.

1989-1993: Studied at an Art School where the curriculum included composition, drawing, painting and plastic art taught by experienced teachers.

2003-2006: Studied at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Latvia.

EMPLOYMENT

Didzis has a 20-year long professional experience in architectural design and engineering project development, including collaborations with a number of individual architects and architectural bureaus.

Studying at the Master's Degree in the Functional Design Subdivision of the Design Department of the Latvian Academy of Art.
